Daniel Cowhig

About Daniel

Daniel Cowhig started his career as a trichologist. He studied trichology with the British Biosthetic Society and went on to further his education by studying with The Institute of Trichologists in London. Whilst working as a trichologist Daniel discovered that many of the conditions that he was being asked to treat were actually external symptoms of a deeper imbalance within the patient, and that nobody within the orthodox field of trichology was taking these deeper imbalances into consideration. Daniel also noticed this trend permeating orthodox medicine. He saw patients symptoms being treated with medications that often had unwanted side effects. These patients symptoms were being managed through continuous use of medication but they were not regaining their health.

After much research into the various options available Daniel choose to study to become a Master Medical Herbalist with the Irish School of Herbal Medicine; a renowned college that attracts international as well as Irish students.
Daniel graduated from the Irish School of Herbal Medicine with a licentiate to practice as a Medical Herbalist as well as diploma’s in Iridology and Vitalist Nutrition. Daniel now treats people rather then diseases. As Hippocrates famously said nearly 2,500 years ago, “It is more important to know what sort of person has a disease than to know what sort of disease a person has”

Niamh Smith

About Niamh

Niamh’s passion for alternative and holistic therapies began whist training to be a reflexologist in the Irish School of Herbal Medicine. Here she interacted with students on the Master Herbalist programme, listening to their discussions around diet, herbal medicine and iridology in order to treat many illnesses really appealed to Niamh. It was then that she then decided to go on to train to be a Master Herbalist and Iridologist in the school. During her four years of training on the Master Herbalist programme Niamh undertook many hours of clinical training where she treated numerous clients alongside her fellow students using iridology as a diagnostic tool as well as nutritional therapy to treat clients. Iridology refers to the process of assessing a client’s iris picture using an iriscope. The eyes are the ‘windows to your soul’ giving insight to the health of the colon, mind, reproductive system and many other organs and systems. Niamh gained valuable experience in treating many illness and discovered how dietary change, herbal medicine alongside alternative therapies can bring about many beneficial health benefits to people. Niamh also studied to become a living food instructor learning the amazing benefits a raw food diet has in bringing about healing, thereby speeding up the recovery process.
